Steppes Borzoi have enjoyed many successes both in and out of the show ring. Our main reason for having borzoi is to live, love and laugh with them, they are truly a unique and wonderful breed. Each dog has a page on this website where you can learn about their individual personalities, as well as their accomplishments. The Who’s Who page serves as a central directory for understanding how the dogs are related to one another.

A great deal of planning and purpose are involved when we decide to breed a new litter as we are devoted fanciers of borzoi. When we place puppies we seek good homes first, good show homes second, and have developed life-long friendships with most of the owners of our dogs. They become extended family and part of a wonderful circle of friends who share the love of borzoi.

We are committed to contributing physically and mentally sound borzoi to other fanciers and our dogs' temperaments make them exceptional diplomats for the breed, a testament to the sound character of all the dogs within our lines. Our philosophy is to only breed our best with a strong desire to maintain as much of the old world integrity of the breed as possible in both form and function.

We have an unconditional no-questions-asked return policy for the lifetime of any dog we place. A healthy long-lived dog is a joy to own. A beautiful creature that makes you smile is a happy borzoi.
