Wars (CH Wars Steppes Piquant)

Wars (pronounced Varss) CH Wars Steppes Piquant was from the mating between Fiedka Kniaz of the Steppes and Czuma Carska Chluba. He was as close to perfect as any borzoi can be.

Wars was a sophisticated gentleman, reminding you of a handsome man in a crisp white summer suit, waltzing with the ladies. He was light on his feet and graceful, moving without effort. He was serious, but only if you were looking. He hand an image to maintain, after all, he couldn’t be seen acting the fool, so you only caught glimpses of his free spirit. He was quiet, easy to be around and undemanding.

We searched far and wide for a lady worthy of his ardure and we chose Inka (CH V’Indra’s Steppes Silhouette) who was his ideal compliment. They were mated in 2001 and produced a litter that has grown to be as elegant on the canine dance floor, the show ring, as their parents. One son, Lightning (CH Lightning Steppes Adelante) is the perfect blend between his parents. A daughter, Bajka (Steppes Bajka Niezapominajka) and another son, Azja (CH Steppe’s Azja Tuhajbejowicz) both move with unsurpassed, effortless reach, demonstrating their sire’s freedom of movement and the gracefulness of their dam, Inka.
