Zoe (Zoe Steppes Melody)

Zoe (CH Wars Steppes Piquant X CH V’Indra’s Steppes Silhouette) is pure delight. She is a cute and charming tricolor and we originally decided to keep her “just because” as a companion with no plans for the show ring. Zoe was first known as Thumbelina because she was the smallest of her litter. Everyone told us she would grow and Charlotte Wheeler said, “Remember, Thumbelina rode her way to fame on a lily pad!” She was right as Zoe matured into a lovely dog and has been shown and pointed and may yet see more ring time.

One of Zoe’s nicknames is Mocha Zoe because if you leave a Mocha in the cup holder in the car, she will carefully take it to the back seat without spilling a drop, pry the lid off and drink it! She’s also known as Super Zoe because she sleeps on her back with her right leg extended fully in salute. Zoe is a speed demon. She “zips” everywhere she goes. Long legs and a lithe body make for one fast borzoi, except when she’s doing her day job which is holding down the bed.
